Great news for the BlackBerry 10 community today – after a very long while without a full OS leak, 10.3.0.1052 has appeared on BlackBerry’s servers. This is a full OS, and likely the OS that the Passport will be launching with (software release 10.3.0.675).
The OS can be installed both through autoloader (which will wipe your device) and non-destructively. For those who prefer a fresh start with an autoloader, here are the links available so far. These have been constructed by community members using files pulled from the server, so some of them have been uploaded to slower services than others. We’ll update the links if we come across anything faster.
If you prefer a non-destructive load with all your old data intact, that will require you to download the debrick file, extract the .signed file from it using 7zip, and then extract the apps using Sachesi. Then you can load those apps, along with the Core OS and radio, using Sachesi. If you only use the Core OS and radio, that will leave you with old versions of all your apps, possibly meaning many features won’t work as intended. Here are the links to the necessary files:
Z10 STL100-1: Debrick | Core OS | Radio
Z10 STL100-2/3 and P’9982: Debrick | Core OS | Radio
Z10 STL100-4: Debrick | Core OS | Radio
Verizon Z30Debrick | Core OS | Radio
Q10/Q5: Debrick | Core OS | Radio
Verizon Q10Debrick | Core OS | Radio
Z3: Debrick | Core OS | Radio
Keep in mind that, as usual with any sort of leak, there’s always room for something to go wrong, so make sure to backup before you do anything. If you get it running successfully, let us know what you find in this OS – 10.3 should be packed with plenty of new features!
